Apart from this, eggs per dozen in bulk will be available from Rs 360 to Rs 380 per dozen. The retail official price per dozen eggs is Rs 290, the wholesale official price per dozen eggs is Rs 280. Shopkeepers say that the main reason for the high price of eggs is the monopoly and greed of poultry farmers.
